Wow! 2013 you’re here.

January 1st I sat down, wrote and shared with the world my goals for 2013. I’m proud of myself for taking the risk to move away from my comfort zone and find success on the other side. There is one ‘but’ – I’m scared. The dreams and goals are BIG!

Am I afraid of failing? Yes, I definitely am! But not trying will be the ultimate failure. And on that note, I remind myself ‘If your dreams don’t scare you they’re not big enough”

#getafterit #succeed

Love what you do! Make a difference!

You know you’re a (die-hard) fitness instructor when…

You literally fall asleep with a constant 8-count scrolling through your brain.
(hold for 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, annnnnd 1…now pulse 8, 7…)

…this is a much more serious problem on Sunday nights when you have a double to teach in the morning.
(and your biggest fear is oversleeping despite multiple alarm clocks being set…pulse it 8, 7, 6, 5, 4…)

On your drive to or from your day job any new song you hear on the radio that sounds even remotely like good playlist material, you immediately shazam for download later.

…and then spend the rest of the car ride trying to figure out where that song would fit into your playlist for your next class.
(hmm could Muse’s “Madness” be a good ab series song? Perhaps for arms & abs tomorrow night??)

You get WAY too excited…

Welcome to 2013!

2012 has been a great year, full of accomplishments, crushed goals, laughter and lots of fun along the way.

For 2013 I’ve decided to set the barre a little higher and get as far from my comfort zone as possible

-Train and complete Super Spartan in Vegas (first destination race)

-Rock ‘The Lipstick Project’ http://thelipstickproject.ca which will include glamourizing and pampering patients at the local Hospice

-Run, run, run (to be exact; 2 half-marathons + 30km to mark my 30th birthday)

-Build steady clientele for my newly opened business – ‘Nails To Go’ to learn more, follow me on twitter (@MobileNailsToGo)

-Become a yoga teacher (practice my skills on and off the mat)

-Become FitFluential ambassador (get as many people off the couch and into the gym as possible) C’mon, let’s get moving!

Follow my journey as I’ll be posting my progress.

Get moving! Get inspired!Image
